How to Restore a Backup on Your BeamMP Server

If something goes wrong with your BeamMP server, you can roll back to a previous state using an automatic backup. Backups are accessible directly from the Game Control Panel without any additional tools.

Restore a backup

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to your BeamMP service.
  3. Stop your server.
  4. Click the Restore Backup icon in the control panel.
  5. Select the backup you want to restore from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click Run.

The server will restore the selected backup. Once complete, start your server and verify it is working as expected.

Troubleshooting

  • No backups available. Backups are created automatically on a schedule. If none appear, the server may not have been running long enough for a backup to be taken yet.
  • Server files lost after restore. Any files added or changed after the selected backup date will not be present. Download important files via FTP before restoring if you want to preserve them.
