How to Reinstall Your BeamMP Server

Reinstalling resets your BeamMP server to its default state, as if freshly provisioned. Use this when the server is in a broken state that cannot be resolved by other means.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted, except backups. Download any files you want to keep via FTP before proceeding. You can also restore a backup instead of a full reinstall if you only need to roll back recent changes.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Keep the Default values option selected and click the Reinstall button to confirm.

The panel will delete all server files, download fresh game server files, and install a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on file size.

Once complete, your server will be ready to start. You will need to re-apply any custom settings, including your authentication key, server name, and any mods or maps.

Troubleshooting

  • Reinstall taking a long time. This is normal. Wait for the process to finish before starting the server.
  • Still having issues after reinstall. Submit a support ticket and the Host Havoc Technical Support Team will assist you.
