How to Reinstall Your Over the Top: WW1 Server

Reinstalling your Over the Top: WW1 server resets all server files to their default state, as if the server were brand new. This is useful when troubleshooting persistent issues or starting fresh. Before reinstalling, review the automatic restarts guide if you just want to schedule a routine restart instead.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted (except backups). Download any files you want to keep before continuing.

Reinstall your server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button. Keep the Default values option selected.

The panel will delete all existing files, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and apply a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Once complete, your server will be running a clean install. You can then reconnect via FTP to upload any saved files you backed up.
