How to Change Your Over the Top: WW1 Server Name

Your server's name appears in the in-game server browser and helps players identify your server. You can change it at any time through the Game Panel configuration editor. If you also want to manage other server files, see the FTP guide.

Change the server name

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server if it is running.
  3. Click Configuration Files in the Game Panel, then open ServerConfiguration.ini using either the Text Editor or the Config Editor.
  4. Locate the ServerName field and update it to your desired server name.

  5. Click Save to apply the change.
  6. Start your server. The new name will appear in the server browser.

Troubleshooting

  • Name not updating: Confirm the server was stopped before editing the file and that you saved the change before restarting.
  • Cannot find ServerConfiguration.ini: Use the FTP client to verify the file exists in your server directory.
