How to Connect to Your Over the Top: WW1 Server via FTP
FTP gives you direct access to your Over the Top: WW1 server files so you can upload configs, download backups, or make edits outside the Game Panel editor. We recommend FileZilla as your FTP client. Once connected, you can upload any files saved before a reinstall.
Connect with FileZilla
- Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
- Find the FTP Info section near the middle of the screen. Copy the FTP IP and port (for example,
167.114.172.201:8821) and paste it into the Host field in FileZilla. - Enter your Game Panel username and password into the Username and Password fields in FileZilla.
- The Port field will populate automatically when you paste the full
<IP>:<PORT>string into the Host field. - Click Quickconnect to establish the connection.
Note: If the panel shows
SFTP Infoinstead ofFTP Info, prefix the address withsftp://, for examplesftp://167.114.172.201:8821.
Troubleshooting
- Connection refused: Confirm your server is running and that you copied the full host and port from the Game Panel.
- Authentication failed: Your FTP password is the same as your Game Panel password. Reset it from within the panel if needed.
- Cannot locate a file: Use the change server name guide as a reference for which config files to look for in the directory.
