How to Reinstall Your HumanitZ Server

Reinstalling your HumanitZ server wipes all server files (except backups) and downloads a fresh default installation. This is useful when your server is in a broken state that cannot be resolved through normal troubleshooting.

Before you start: Download any files you want to keep using FTP or the File Manager before proceeding. All server files will be permanently deleted.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button to confirm. It is recommended to keep the Default values option selected.

The panel will delete all current files, download a fresh copy of the HumanitZ server files, and apply a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Troubleshooting

  • If the reinstall appears to hang, wait at least 10 minutes before refreshing the panel. Large game files take time to download.
  • If your server is still broken after reinstalling, submit a support ticket for further assistance.
