How to Set Up Automatic Restarts for Your Soulmask Server

Updated June 10, 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

Scheduling automatic restarts keeps your Soulmask server running smoothly and frees you from restarting it manually. You configure restarts through the Scheduled Tasks feature in your game panel.

Create a scheduled restart

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Scheduled Tasks icon on the left-hand side.
  3. Click New at the top of the section and choose Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart, then click New directly below that section.
  4. Give the task a name that lets you identify it quickly.
  5. Make sure the Enabled box is checked.
  6. For the type, choose Daily to restart at the same time each day.
  7. Set the start date and time. This is the time the restart will occur every day. To align it with your local time zone, check your panel's time zone settings.
  8. Click Save.

Before you start: Additional options such as action type and waiting until the server is empty are available in the Advanced Options section.

Schedule a repeating restart (every 6 hours)

If you want the server to restart multiple times per day, for example every 6 hours:

  1. Follow the steps above to create a scheduled task.
  2. In the task settings, check Repeat Task.
  3. Set the repeat interval to 6 hours.
  4. Click Save.

Troubleshooting

  • If a restart does not fire at the expected time, verify the task is still marked Enabled and that the time is correct for your panel's time zone.
  • For other configuration changes, see Edit Server Settings.
