How to Add a Server Password to Your Soulmask Server

Setting a server password on your Soulmask server prevents unauthorized players from joining. You configure it through the Command Line Manager in your game panel.

Add or change the server password

  1. Log into your Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server if it is running.
  3. Click Command Line Manager in the panel, then click Selected.
  4. Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password.
  5. Click Save and Exit.
  6. Start your server.

Players will now be prompted to enter the password when connecting. Share it only with the players you want to allow.

Troubleshooting

  • To remove the password, clear the Server Password field in the Command Line Manager and save.
  • If you also want to restrict admin access, set a separate admin password.
  • To change your server name, follow the same Command Line Manager steps and update the Server Name field instead.
