How to Add a Server Password to Your Soulmask Server
Setting a server password on your Soulmask server prevents unauthorized players from joining. You configure it through the Command Line Manager in your game panel.
Add or change the server password
- Log into your Game Control Panel.
- Stop your server if it is running.
- Click Command Line Manager in the panel, then click Selected.
- Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password.
- Click Save and Exit.
- Start your server.
Players will now be prompted to enter the password when connecting. Share it only with the players you want to allow.
Troubleshooting
- To remove the password, clear the Server Password field in the Command Line Manager and save.
- If you also want to restrict admin access, set a separate admin password.
- To change your server name, follow the same Command Line Manager steps and update the Server Name field instead.
