How to Reinstall Your RuneScape: Dragonwilds Server

Reinstalling resets your RuneScape: Dragonwilds server to the same default state it was in when you first purchased it. Use this when the server is corrupted, misconfigured, or you want a fresh start.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted (excluding backups). Download any files you want to keep before proceeding. See Manage Backups or Connect via FTP to save your data first.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Keep the Default values option selected (recommended), then click the Reinstall button to confirm.

The panel will delete all existing server files, download a fresh copy of the game server, and install a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files. Wait for it to complete before starting your server.

Once reinstalled, remember to re-apply any customizations such as your owner ID and any config changes.

Troubleshooting

  • Reinstall button is greyed out: Stop the server before attempting a reinstall.
  • Server fails to start after reinstall: Contact Host Havoc support via a support ticket if the process does not complete successfully.
