How to Reinstall Your Server

Reinstalling your Euro Truck Simulator 2 server resets it to the same default state it was in when you first received it. This is useful when troubleshooting persistent issues that cannot be resolved through configuration changes.

After reinstalling, you will need to reconfigure your login token and lobby name.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted except backups. Download any files you want to keep before proceeding.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log into your Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server if it is currently running.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Keep the Default values option selected and click the Reinstall button to confirm.

The process will delete all current server files, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and install a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on file size.

Once complete, your server will be ready to start with a clean installation.

Troubleshooting

  • If the reinstall appears to stall, wait a few minutes before checking again. Large game files take time to download.
  • If you need further help, submit a support ticket and the Host Havoc support team will assist you.
