How to Reinstall Your Eco Server

Reinstalling your Eco server resets it to the same clean state it was in when you first received it. This is useful when your server is corrupted, misconfigured beyond repair, or you want a completely fresh start.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted except backups. Download any world saves, configuration files, or other data you want to keep before continuing.

Reinstall steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button on the confirmation screen. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The process will delete all files in your server directory, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and install a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files. Wait for it to complete and your server will be ready to use.

Troubleshooting

  • Reinstall takes a long time: This is normal. Eco server files can be large. Wait for the process to finish before starting the server.
  • Still having issues after reinstall: If problems persist after a clean reinstall, submit a support ticket and the support team will assist you.
