How to Reinstall Your American Truck Simulator Server

Reinstalling your server resets it to the default state it was in when you first purchased it. All server files will be deleted except for backups, so download any files you want to keep before starting.

Before you start: Back up any configuration files, mod packages, or other data you want to preserve before proceeding.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop the server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button to confirm. It is recommended to keep the Default values option selected.

Once started, the process deletes all files on your server, downloads a fresh copy of the game server files, and installs a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Wait for the process to complete and your server will be ready with a clean install.
