How to Connect to Your American Truck Simulator Server via FTP
FTP lets you transfer files directly between your computer and your server. This guide uses FileZilla, a free FTP client, to connect to your American Truck Simulator server.
This process also applies to Euro Truck Simulator 2 servers.
Install FileZilla
Download FileZilla from filezilla-project.org and install it on your computer.
Connect to your server
- Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
- Find the FTP Info section near the middle of the page. Copy the FTP IP and port (it will look similar to
167.114.172.201:8821) and paste it into the Host field in FileZilla. - Enter your Game Control Panel username and password into the Username and Password fields in FileZilla.
- The port will adjust automatically if you copied the full
host:portvalue from the panel. - Click Quickconnect to connect.
Note: If the panel shows SFTP Info instead of FTP Info, add
sftp://in front of the IP address, for example:sftp://167.114.172.201:8821.
