How to Edit Settings on Your American Truck Simulator Server

Your American Truck Simulator server settings (server name, password, and description) are stored in server_config.sii. You can edit these directly through the Config Editor in your Game Control Panel.

This guide also applies to Euro Truck Simulator 2 servers, as both games use the same configuration structure.

Edit server settings

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click Stop to stop the server before making changes.
  3. Click the Configuration Files button.
  4. Find server_config.sii in the list and click the Config Editor option to open it.
  5. Adjust the values for the settings you want to change (name, password, description, etc.).
  6. Click Save to save your changes.
  7. Start the server back up.
