How to Set Up Automatic Restarts for Your Conan Exiles Server

Automatic restarts help keep your Conan Exiles server stable and apply updates on a regular schedule. You can configure them using the Scheduled Tasks feature in the Host Havoc game panel.

Restarting on a schedule pairs well with automatic mod updates and helps clear any memory buildup between sessions.

Steps

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Scheduled Tasks icon on the left-hand side.
  3. Click New at the top, choose Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart, then click New below that section.
  4. Give the task a name so you can identify it quickly, and check the Enabled box.
  5. For Type, choose Daily if you want the restart to occur at the same time each day.
  6. Set the start date and time. This will be the time the restart occurs every day. To match your time zone, see the time zone guide.
  7. Click Save.

Repeating Restarts

To restart every few hours throughout the day, check the Repeat Task box and set the interval. For example, to restart every 6 hours, enable repeat and set the interval to 6 hours.

Advanced Options

The Advanced Options section lets you choose the action type (restart, stop, start) and configure the task to wait until the server is empty before acting.
