How to Import Your Single-Player Conan Exiles World to Your Server

Published 9 June 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

You can move your locally hosted single-player or co-op Conan Exiles world to your Host Havoc server. The process involves locating your local save file and uploading it to the server via FTP.

You will need FTP access configured before starting.

Part 1 - Find Your Local Save File

  1. Open Steam and go to your game library.
  2. Right-click Conan Exiles and click Properties.
  3. Click Local Files, then Browse Local Files.
  4. Open the folders ConanSandbox then Saved.
  5. Locate the game.db file. This is your single-player world save. Keep this File Manager window open.

Part 2 - Upload the Save to Your Server

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and stop your server.
  2. Connect to your server via FTP using the FTP guide.
  3. In the FTP client, navigate to ConanSandbox/Saved/.
  4. Locate the existing game.db file on the server and delete it.
  5. From the File Manager window you kept open in Part 1, drag and drop your local game.db into the FTP client's file area.
  6. Wait for the upload to complete fully before closing the FTP connection.
  7. Once uploaded, exit your FTP client and start the server.

After Upload

If you were using mods with your local world, install the same mods on your server using the mod installation guide.

Notes

  • This process works for the default Exiled Lands map (game.db). If you are running Isle of Siptah, the save file is dlc_siptah.db.
  • Always back up your existing server save before replacing it.
