How to Reinstall Your 7 Days to Die Server

Reinstalling your 7 Days to Die server deletes all current server files and replaces them with a fresh default installation. Use this when your server is heavily broken and other fixes have not worked.

Warning: All server files will be deleted during reinstall, except for backups. Download any files you want to keep before proceeding.

Steps to Reinstall

  1. Log in to your Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop the server.
  3. Click the More button.
  4. Click Reinstall.
  5. Click the Reinstall confirmation button. Leave the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The panel will delete all current files, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and complete the installation automatically. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.
