How to Reinstall Your Wreckfest 2 Server

Reinstalling your Wreckfest 2 server deletes all server files (except backups) and re-downloads a clean default installation. Use this to recover from broken or corrupted files. Once complete, you can reconfigure your server by editing your server settings.

Before you start: Reinstalling will delete all server files except backups. This cannot be undone. Save any custom configuration files via FTP before proceeding.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to your server in the control panel.
  3. Click Stop to stop the server.
  4. Click the ...More button to the right of the Start/Stop/Restart buttons.

  5. Click Reinstall.
  6. Click the Reinstall button to confirm. Leave the option set to Default values unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The process may take up to 20 minutes depending on the size of the game files. Once complete, join your server to confirm it is running correctly.
