How to Add Admins on Your Wreckfest 2 Server

Grant admin privileges on your Wreckfest 2 server by running a single command in the Web Console. You will need the Steam ID of the player you want to promote. Before adding admins, make sure your server is running and you can join your server to verify the changes.

Add an admin via the Web Console

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel.
  2. Click Web Console in the left-hand menu.
  3. Log into the game to find your Steam ID: it will be visible in the Web Console output when you connect.
  4. In the Web Console input, type the following command and press Enter:
role <steamid>,admin

Replace <steamid> with the player's actual Steam ID (e.g., 76561198012345678).

Troubleshooting

If the command has no effect, confirm the server is online and that you are entering the exact Steam64 ID. You can also edit your server settings to review any admin-related configuration values in server_config.scnf.
