How to Set Up Automatic Restarts for Your PixARK Server

Updated June 10, 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

Automatic restarts keep your PixARK server stable by clearing memory and applying any pending updates on a regular schedule. You configure them through the Scheduled Tasks section of the game panel.

Create a scheduled restart

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Scheduled Tasks icon in the left sidebar.
  3. Click New at the top of the section and choose Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart, then click New in the subsection that appears.
  4. Enter a descriptive name for the task so you can identify it later.
  5. Check the Enabled box.
  6. Set the Type to Daily to run the restart at the same time each day.
  7. Set the Start date and time for when the restart should occur. The time is based on the game panel's time zone. See the time zone article if you need to convert to your local time.
  8. Click Save.

Schedule repeating restarts

If you want the server to restart multiple times per day (for example, every 6 hours), expand the Advanced Options section and enable Repeat Task. Set the repeat interval to the number of hours between each restart.

Once saved, the task runs automatically. You can return to Scheduled Tasks at any time to edit or disable it.
