How to Change the World Map on Your Dark and Light Server

Changing the world map on your Dark and Light server lets you switch between available maps such as The Shard. This is done through the Commandline Manager in the Host Havoc Game Control Panel, so no manual file editing is required.

Change the map

1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your Dark and Light server.
2. Click Commandline Manager in the left sidebar.
3. If you have not yet created a commandline, click New.
4. Click the Map dropdown and select The Shard (or your desired map).
5. Click Save.
6. Start the server.

The server will launch with the new map on the next startup.

Troubleshooting

If the map does not change after restarting, confirm the commandline is set as active in the Commandline Manager. You may also want to reinstall your server if the map selection does not take effect after several attempts.
