How to Reinstall Your Conan Exiles Server

Reinstalling resets your Conan Exiles server to the same state it was in when you first received it. All server files are deleted and a fresh copy is downloaded and installed.

Warning: All server files will be deleted except stored backups. Download any files you want to keep via FTP before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop the server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall confirmation button. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The reinstall process deletes all current files, downloads a fresh copy of the game server files, and installs a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Once complete, your server will be ready to start with a clean install.
