About HumanitZ: open-world zombie survival, PvE or PvP
HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world survival game from Yodubzz Studios, set in a world overrun by zombies that stretches from wilderness to dense cities. You scavenge, craft, farm and fish, fortify a safe house, and drive vehicles you can upgrade with armor, weapons, and storage. The game left Early Access with its 1.0 release in February 2026. A dedicated server keeps your world, bases, and vehicles running around the clock, so your group can play on its own schedule without waiting for a host.
Co-op PvE or open PvP, with proximity voice chat
Run a cooperative PvE world for friends or a PvP server for a wider community, with 8, 16, or 24 player slots. HumanitZ includes proximity voice chat, and players join from the in-game server browser or by direct IP.
Server settings and admin access
The server name, join password, and admin password live in the server settings file, which you edit from the Host Havoc control panel. Admins unlock their rights in game with the admin password. Automated backups, DDoS protection, and 24/7 support are included.

Without Host Havoc
The manual way: self-hosting
The official HumanitZ dedicated server from Yodubzz Studios runs natively on Windows and Linux. It needs a machine that stays on 24/7 and no GPU, but CPU and RAM use climbs with player count, so plan for 2 to 4 cores and 4 to 12 GB of RAM.
- Install the dependencies. The Visual C++ and DirectX runtimes on Windows, or the 32-bit libraries SteamCMD needs on Linux.
- Download the server with SteamCMD using the anonymous login and Steam App ID

After that it is on you: patching on every Yodubzz update (the 1.0 release required a fresh save), backing up the world, restarting after crashes, and absorbing DDoS yourself.
