How to Add an Admin to Your Vein Server

Adding yourself as an admin on your Vein server gives you access to the in-game admin menu, where you can manage players and adjust settings in real time. Once set up, you can also edit server settings directly from that menu.

Add an admin

  1. Log in to your Game Control Panel.
  2. Click Configuration Files.
  3. Open the Game.ini file by clicking Config Editor to the right.
  4. Find the line that reads Super Admin SteamID64:.
  5. Replace XX with your Steam64 ID.
  6. Click Save and Exit.

Before you start: You can find your Steam64 ID by searching your Steam profile URL on a Steam ID lookup site.

Access the admin menu

Once you have saved your Steam64 ID, log in to your Vein server and press the backslash key (\) on your keyboard to open the in-game admin menu.
