How to Reinstall Your The Front Server

Reinstalling your The Front server removes all current server files (except backups) and downloads a clean default installation. This is useful for resolving persistent issues or starting fresh after a corrupted installation.

Before you start: Reinstalling deletes all server files except backups. If you want to preserve your world data, make sure a recent backup exists before proceeding. You can also upload save data afterwards to restore a specific save.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Stop button and wait for the server to stop fully.
  3. Click the ...More button (to the right of the Start, Stop, and Restart buttons).

  4. Click Reinstall.
  5. Click the Reinstall button on the confirmation screen. Leave it set to Default values unless you have a specific reason to change this.

This process can take up to 20 minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Troubleshooting
