How to Join Your Romestead Server

Connecting to your Romestead server requires your server IP address and port, both of which are listed on your game panel page. The steps below walk through the full connection process from the main menu.

Before you start: Make sure your server is running in the Game Control Panel before attempting to connect.

Connect to your server

  1. Launch Romestead and click Multiplayer on the main screen.

  2. Create or select a character on the next screen.

  3. After choosing your character, select the Advance/LAN section.

  4. Enter your server IP and port in the fields provided. Your IP and port are shown on your game panel page. If your connection string reads 123.456.789.012:3456, enter 123.456.789.012 as the IP and 3456 as the port.

  5. Click Connect to join.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot find your IP/port: Log in to the Game Control Panel, navigate to your server, and look for the connection details on the server overview page.
  • Connection refused or timeout: Confirm your server is fully started before connecting. If it remains unreachable, see reinstall your server to rule out a corrupted installation.
