How to Change Your Server Lobby Name

The lobby name is what players see when browsing for Euro Truck Simulator 2 servers in-game. You can update it at any time through the configuration file in your game panel.

If you have not yet set up a login token, do that first so your server appears publicly in the browser.

Change the lobby name

  1. Log into your Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server if it is currently running.
  3. Click Configuration Files.
  4. Open the config file using either the Text Editor or the Config Editor.

  5. Locate the lobby_name field.
  6. Enter your desired lobby name.
  7. Save the file and start your server.

Your updated lobby name will appear in the server browser once the server is fully started.

Troubleshooting

  • If the name does not update, confirm the file was saved and the server was restarted after the change.
