How to Reinstall Your Enshrouded Server

Reinstalling your Enshrouded server resets it to the state it was in when you first purchased it. Use this when your server files are corrupted or you want a completely fresh start.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted except backups. Download any files you want to keep before proceeding. See our guide on importing a world save if you want to restore a world afterward.

Reinstall your server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your Enshrouded server.
  2. Stop your server if it is running.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall confirmation button. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The panel will delete all files on the server, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and install a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Once complete, your server will be ready to start with a clean installation.

Troubleshooting

If the reinstall process does not complete or your server fails to start afterward, submit a support ticket and the Host Havoc team will assist you.
