How to Change the Admin Password on Your HumanitZ Server

The admin password for your HumanitZ server is stored in GameUserSettings.ini. You can update it at any time through the configuration file editor in the Game Control Panel.

Change the admin password

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server if it is running.
  3. Click the Configuration Files icon in the control panel, then open GameUserSettings.ini using either the Text Editor or the Config Editor.
  4. Locate the AdminPass field and update the value to your new password.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Restart your server for the change to take effect.

Troubleshooting

  • If the AdminPass field is not visible in the Config Editor, switch to the Text Editor view and search for it manually.
  • Make sure the server is fully stopped before saving changes to avoid the file being overwritten on shutdown.
