This article will detail the steps needed to upload an existing world from your computer.

Using Filezilla to transfer files between your computer and the server via FTP is recommended. Instructions can be found here.

  1. On your local PC, navigate to C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie

  2. Copy the world you want from C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GeneratedWorlds on your personal computer to the Data\Worlds folder on the Host Havoc server.

  3. In the Saves folder, find the folder that has the same name as the folder from step 2. Copy that folder from C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves on your personal computer to the userdata\Saves folder.
Please note, that if you're using A21 you would need to use the 7dtdsaves folder in the root folder

Make sure in the configuration file "serverconfigfull.xml" that the following settings match exactly to the one you are copying
-Set the Game World (Must be the same name as the folder that was uploaded to GeneratedWorlds)
-World GenSeed (The seed that was used when creating the world)
-World Gen Size (Must be the same size as the world that was previously generated)
-Game Name (Must be set to match the name of the first folder when you open the world name in 7dtdsaves)

  4. Start your service

The above guide can be modified to move a server from another host as well. The files needed would be located in the same locations as your Host Havoc 7 Days to Die server.
