How to Reinstall Your DayZ Server

Reinstalling resets your DayZ server to the same state it was in when you first received it. All server files are deleted and a clean copy of the game server is downloaded and installed.

Warning: All server files will be deleted (except backups). Download any files you want to keep via FTP before proceeding.

Steps

Step 1: Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your DayZ service.

Step 2: Stop your server.

Step 3: Click the More button.

Step 4: Click Reinstall.

Step 5: Click the Reinstall confirmation button. It is recommended to keep the Default values option selected.

The process deletes all existing files, downloads fresh game server files, and installs a default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.
