How to Upload Steam Workshop Content to Your Unturned Server

Steam Workshop mods are downloaded to your local machine when you subscribe, then transferred to your server via FTP. This guide walks through the full process.

Before you start: You need an FTP client. See How to Use an FTP Client with Your Unturned Service for connection details.

Upload workshop mods

1. Open the Unturned Steam Workshop in your browser.
2. Subscribe to the mods you want on your server.
3. Locate the downloaded mod folders on your PC. They are typically found at:

   SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content\304930
   

   
   Each numbered subfolder is a separate workshop mod (304930 is Unturned's Steam App ID).
4. Connect to your server via FTP and navigate to:

   Unturnedservershh/Workshop/content
   

5. Upload the numbered mod folder(s) to that directory.
6. Restart your server.

The mods will load on the next startup. If a mod does not appear in-game, confirm the folder was placed directly inside Workshop/content and that the server restarted fully.
