How to Set a Password on Your Satisfactory Server

Setting a password on your Satisfactory server requires players to authenticate before joining, keeping the session private.

Before you start: You must have claimed your server and authenticated as an administrator. Claiming happens automatically when you first set up the server.

  1. Launch Satisfactory and open Server Manager.
  2. Navigate to your server.
  3. Go to the Server Settings tab.
  4. Click Change Password under Player password protection.
  5. Enter the password you want players to use when joining. Leave this field blank to allow anyone to join without a password.

  6. Click Confirm.
