How to Change the Map on Your DayZ Server

DayZ supports multiple maps (called missions or templates). You select the active map in your server config file. If you change maps, you may also want to reset the map and player data to start fresh.

Steps

Step 1: Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your DayZ service.

Step 2: Stop your server if it is running.

Step 3: Click Configuration Files, then click Text Editor next to serverDZ_By_HostHavoc.cfg.

Step 4: Locate the following line:

template="dayzOffline.chernarusplus";

Step 5: Replace dayzOffline.chernarusplus with the template name for your desired map.

Step 6: Click Save, then start your server.

Note: Changing the map does not automatically wipe player data. If you want a clean start on the new map, follow the wipe server guide after switching.
