How to Join Your Counter-Strike 2 Server

There are three ways to connect to your Counter-Strike 2 server. Use whichever method is most convenient.

Your server's connection info (IP and port) is shown in the Host Havoc game panel on your server's main page. You will need this for options 2 and 3.

Option 1: Game panel Join button

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Join button next to the server's connection info.

CS2 will launch and connect automatically.

Option 2: In-game console

  1. Launch Counter-Strike 2.
  2. Press the console key (`) to open the developer console.
  3. Type the connect command with your server's IP and port:
    connect <IP>:<PORT>

    For example: connect 144.48.106.196:27035
  4. Press Enter.

Option 3: Steam server browser

  1. Open the Steam client.
  2. Click View in the top-left menu.
  3. Click Game Servers.
  4. Switch to the Favorites tab.
  5. Click the + button at the bottom.
  6. Enter your server's IP and port from the game panel.
  7. Click OK, then click Refresh.
  8. Double-click your server in the list to connect.

If your server has a join password set, you will be prompted to enter it when connecting. See setting passwords if you need to change or remove the password.
