How to Reinstall Your Arma 3 Server

Reinstalling your Arma 3 server wipes all server files and replaces them with a clean default installation. Use this when your server is broken beyond repair or you want a completely fresh start. Before you begin, visit FTP client to download any files you want to keep, they will be deleted.

Warning: Reinstalling deletes all server files except backups. Download anything you need before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.
  4. Click Reinstall.
  5. Click the Reinstall button on the confirmation screen. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The process will delete all files, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and apply the default configuration. This may take several minutes depending on file size.

Note: Once complete you will have a fully fresh installation of your Arma 3 server.
