How to Join Your Abiotic Factor Server

The quickest way to connect to your Abiotic Factor server is to add it to your Steam favorites list using the Query Info found in the Game Control Panel.

Before joining, make sure your server is running and that you have set a server name so it is easy to identify.

Add your server to Steam favorites

  1. Open the Steam client.
  2. In the top menu, click View, then click Game Servers.
  3. Switch to the Favorites tab.
  4. Click the + button at the bottom of the window.
  5. Enter the address shown under Query Info in your server's Game Control Panel.
  6. Click OK.

  7. Click Refresh in the top-right corner of the server browser.

Your server will now appear in the Favorites list. Click it and then click Connect to join.

Troubleshooting

  • If the server does not appear after refreshing, confirm the server is running in the Game Control Panel.
  • Double-check that you entered the Query Info address exactly as shown, including the port number.
  • If the server is password-protected, refer to Configure Server Name and Password to verify the password.
