How to Connect to Your 7 Days to Die Server via FTP

FTP lets you upload, download, and manage files on your 7 Days to Die server directly from your computer. The recommended client is FileZilla, which is free and available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Steps to Connect

  1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Locate the FTP Info section near the middle of the panel. Copy the FTP address (for example, 167.114.172.201:8821) and paste it into the Host field in FileZilla.
  3. Enter your control panel username and password into the Username and Password fields in FileZilla.
  4. The Port will be filled in automatically when you paste the address from step 2.
  5. Click Quickconnect to establish the connection.

Note: If the panel shows SFTP Info instead of FTP Info, add sftp:// in front of the IP address before pasting it into FileZilla. For example: sftp://167.114.172.201:8821.

Tip: You can change your control panel password from within the panel at any time. Use the same credentials for FTP.
