How to Reinstall Your Soulmask Server

Reinstalling your Soulmask server deletes all server files except backups, then re-downloads the default setup. Use this when the server is corrupted or you want a clean start. If you want to keep your world data, create a backup before proceeding.

Warning: Reinstalling deletes all server files except backups and cannot be undone.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the [...More] button to the right of the start/stop/restart buttons.

  4. Click Reinstall.
  5. Click the Reinstall button on the confirmation screen. It is recommended to leave the option set to Default values.

The reinstall process may take up to 20 minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Troubleshooting

  • If the reinstall appears to hang, wait the full 20 minutes before refreshing the panel.
  • After reinstalling you may need to reconfigure your server name and passwords. See Change Server Name and Change Admin Password.
