Install uMod/Oxide Plugins on Your Rust Server
Before installing plugins, make sure uMod/Oxide is already installed and that the server has been started at least once with it active. If you have not done this yet, follow Install uMod/Oxide first.
Method 1: Plugin installer (recommended)
This is the fastest way to add community plugins without leaving the control panel.
- Log into the Game Control Panel.
- Click the Install uMod Plugins icon.
- Find the plugin you want and click Install beneath it.
Method 2: Manual upload
Use this method for plugins not listed in the installer.
- Log into the Game Control Panel.
- Open the File Manager and navigate to
oxide/plugins/.Before you start: If the
oxide/plugins/folder is missing, uninstall and reinstall uMod/Oxide via Non-Workshop Mods, then start the server once to generate it. - Click Upload at the top of the file manager and select your
.csplugin file. - Restart the server.
The plugin is now active.
Note: Host Havoc cannot guarantee that uMod plugins will function as expected. We do not provide support for plugin functionality, and we are not responsible for performance issues caused by third-party plugins or the uMod framework.
