How to Reinstall Your PixARK Server

Reinstalling your PixARK server wipes all current server files and downloads a fresh copy of the game server, returning it to the state it was in when you first received it.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted except backups. Download any configuration files, save data, or mods you want to keep before proceeding.

Reinstall the server

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop the server if it is running.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. On the confirmation screen, keep Default values selected and click the Reinstall button to confirm.

The panel will delete all files in your server directory, download a new copy of the PixARK server files, and apply a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on file size.

Once complete, your server will be ready to start. You can then add your admins and reconfigure any settings through the Commandline Manager.

Troubleshooting

If the reinstall process does not start or stalls, stop the server fully and wait 30 seconds before trying again. If the issue persists, open a support ticket through the Host Havoc client area.
