How to Add Admins to Your PixARK Server

PixARK uses a whitelist file to grant admin access. Players added to this file receive admin permissions automatically when they connect, without needing to enter an admin password.

You will need each player's Steam64 ID. You can look these up using a Steam ID lookup tool such as steamid.io.

Add admins via the file manager

1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
2. Click File Manager.
3. Navigate to ShooterGame\Saved.
4. Create a new file named AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt if it does not already exist.
5. Open the file and enter each admin's Steam64 ID on its own line. For example, three admins would look like this:

   76561198000000001
   76561198000000002
   76561198000000003
   

6. Save the file.
7. Restart the server for the changes to take effect.

You can also use an FTP client to upload or edit this file if you prefer working outside the browser-based file manager.

Before you start: Steam64 IDs are 17-digit numbers starting with 765611. Do not use a regular Steam ID or a vanity URL username.
