How to Set Up Automatic Restarts for Your Palworld Server

Updated 10 June 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

Automatic restarts keep your Palworld server healthy by clearing memory and applying any pending updates on a regular schedule. You configure them through the Scheduled Tasks feature in the game panel.

Create a scheduled restart

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Click the Scheduled Tasks icon on the left-hand side.
  3. Click New at the top of the section.
  4. Choose Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart, then click New directly below that section.
  5. Give the task a name that makes it easy to identify.
  6. Check the Enabled box.
  7. For the type, choose Daily to restart at the same time each day.
  8. Set the start date and time. This time will repeat every day.
  9. Click Save.

Time zone: The scheduled time uses the time zone configured in the game panel. See the game panel time zone settings if the restart is firing at an unexpected hour.

Set a repeating interval

To restart every few hours throughout the day, for example every 6 hours, check the Repeat Task option in the task settings and configure the interval. This lets you run multiple restarts in a 24-hour period without creating separate tasks.

For additional control over restart behavior, expand the Advanced Options section to set the action type and configure options such as waiting until the server is empty before restarting.
