How to Reinstall Your Myth of Empires Server

Reinstalling your server resets it to the default state from when you first purchased it. This is useful when your server is misconfigured or corrupted beyond repair. Before proceeding, you can use an FTP client to download any files you want to keep.

Warning: All server files will be deleted (except backups). Download any files you want to keep before continuing.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button to confirm. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The panel will delete all files in your server directory, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and install a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Troubleshooting

If the reinstall process does not start or gets stuck, stop the server fully and try again. If issues persist, submit a support ticket and the Host Havoc team will assist you. You can also review automatic restarts once your server is back online.
