How to Change Your Icarus Server Passwords

Your Icarus server has two passwords you can configure: a Join Password that players must enter to connect, and an Admin Password used for admin command access.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and view your server.
  2. Click Stop.
  3. Click the Configuration Files icon.
  4. Open ServerSettings.ini using the Config Editor.
  5. Edit the Join Password field to set a password required to join the server. Leave it blank to allow open access.
  6. Edit the Admin Password field to set the password required for admin commands.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Restart the server for the changes to take effect.
