Install the Exile Mod on Your Arma 3 Server

This guide covers installing the Exile mod on your Host Havoc Arma 3 server. The control panel includes built-in tools that simplify the setup. For loading Workshop mods in general, see install Workshop mods.

Before you start: Stop your server before making these changes.

Installation Steps

  1. Log into your game control panel.
  2. View your game service and stop the server if it is running.
  3. Click Select x86 or x64 Server EXE, choose x86, and click Run.
  4. Open the Non-Workshop Mods icon.
  5. Install Exile Mod Files from the mod list.
  6. Install Exile Server Files from the mod list.
  7. From the main service page (where the Start/Stop/Restart buttons are), click Format Database for Exile Usage Wipes Database.
  8. Once complete, click Update database from 1.02 to 1.03, then click Update database from 1.03 to 1.04. The second update may return an error. This is expected and will not cause issues.
  9. Open the Commandline Manager and go to the Custom Commandlines tab. Create a new command line if you have not already done so.
  10. Edit your custom command line and set the following:
    • Server Mods: @ExileServer
    • Mods: @Exile
  11. Enable the Auto Initialize option.
  12. Save your command line.
  13. Click Select on your command line to activate it.

Your Exile server is now ready to start.
