Why Is My Arma 3 Custom Command Line Not Taking Effect?

If you have edited your Arma 3 custom command line but the changes are not being applied when the server starts, the command line has most likely not been set as active. This is a quick fix in the command line manager.

For help editing the command line in the first place, see configure RCON or headless client for examples of command line parameters you might need.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your Arma 3 server.
  2. Open the Command Line Manager.
  3. Find your custom command line in the list.
  4. Click the Select button on the right-hand side of that command line row.
  5. Restart your server for the changes to take effect.

Note: A command line must be explicitly selected each time you create or switch to a new one. Saving alone is not enough.
