Is Enshrouded Cross-Platform? Crossplay on PC, PS5 and Xbox (2026)

No, Enshrouded isn't cross-platform yet. Version 1.0 came out on October 15, 2026 for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5, but players on one platform can't join worlds on the other. Keen Games says it is working on crossplay and hasn't given a date.

Keen's launch FAQ says Enshrouded "will not be cross-platform at launch." The studio has also said it is working on cross-platform play, with no estimate for when it will be ready.

Until then, PC and PS5 are two separate player bases. Progress doesn't move between them either: your Steam characters and worlds stay on Steam, and Keen hasn't confirmed any cross-save.

Can PS5 players join a PC dedicated server?

No. PS5 players can't connect to Steam-based Enshrouded servers, and that includes Host Havoc's, which run the PC version. A server you set up for a mixed group will only be open to the PC players in it.

What about Xbox and GeForce Now?

The Xbox Series X|S version missed 1.0. Keen moved it to spring 2027, saying it needed more time to reach "the level of quality and performance we expect on Xbox." It hasn't said whether the Xbox version will launch with crossplay.

GeForce Now streams the Steam copy you own, so GeForce Now players are on the PC version.

Options for a group split between PC and PS5

Most groups pick one platform for the shared world, usually the one most of them already own. Others keep a PC world and a PS5 world going side by side and switch over when crossplay arrives.
