How to set the clan size limit on your Conan Exiles server

This article covers setting maximum clan size on your Conan Exiles server.

Step 1: Log into the Game Control Panel, stop your service.
Step 2: Open Configuration Files → ServerSettings.ini → Text Editor . Under [ServerSettings]:

MaxClanSize=10

Values:

• 1 — solo play (no clans)
• 5-10 — small/competitive
• 20+ — large cooperative
• 0 — unlimited (default vanilla)

Step 3: Save and start.

Notes:

• Existing oversized clans aren't broken up — but no new members allowed until count drops.
• Pair with FollowerLimit settings (see thrall limit article) for compound balance.
• Common PvP preset: clan size 4, alliances disabled.
• Common PvE preset: clan size 20-50, alliances enabled.
