How to import a V Rising save game
You first need to locate the save you wish to import.
Dedicated server saves are located here by default
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRisingServer\Saves\v1\
Local server saves are located here by default
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v1\
You will want to add the save you wish to import to a .zip file+
After you have the save compressed in a .zip file, you will want to use the file manager in the server's control to upload the save to the server.
The save folder on the server is located at .\save-data\Saves\v1\
After uploading the .zip to the server, right-click on it in the file manager and click extract to unpack the files.
After the save files have been unpacked, you will need to edit the SaveName option in the ServerHostSettings.json
You can edit this file using the config editor in the configuration file menu.
The SaveName option should be the name of the save folder you uploaded to the server.
Save the files after making the changes.
